Adult Quiz

The Community Games hold Adult /Youth Table Quiz Finals in April. County competitions are held earlier in the year. Entry Forms can be obtained from your Secretary. For more information contact your Area Secretary Participants: Panel of 6: - 3 under 17 and 3 over 17. Team of 4: - 2 under 17 and 2 over 17. Special Cash Prizes Totalling €200.00. Competition Rules: The competition will consist of 10 rounds of 10 questions. There will be some questions on Community Games during the course of the Quiz. Competition may first take place at Area level. Area to provide own prizes and fix own entry fee. Winning team or teams to go forward to County Final. Counties may allow one or more teams from each Area to take part in the County Final. County to provide own prizes and fix own entry fee. Winning team or teams to go forward to the National Final. Counties may submit one, two or three teams to compete in the National Finals. Fees: Area to pay entry fee for the Area team or teams competing in the County Final. County to pay entry fee for the team or teams competing in the National Final. Entry Fee to National Final €30.00 for One Team €50.00 for Two Teams €65.00 for Three Teams Competitors must be under the specified age on the 31st July of the year in which the National Final takes place. Members of the panel must be resident in the Community Games Area they compete for. The Area Secretary must certify the authenticity of the panel. Only a team of four will compete, the make up of the team may change from competition to competition but only members of the panel submitted can be used. The format of the team must remain not more than 2 under 17 or 2 over 17.
